Spot and Dot was began in late 2014 by textile artist and maker, Georgina Bell.
All fabric is hand printed using traditional printing and finishing methods. There is something uniquely special about hand printing with screens, it gives a decadent and uniquely luxurious end result. This is why Spot and Dot is committed to hand printing our textile collections and limited edition prints.
At Spot and Dot we take our responsibility to look after and protect the environment very seriously, we aim to use only organically and ethically grown and processed natural fabrics.
Many of our prints at Spot and Dot are inspired by travelling and the natural world. Our current collection was created after a recent series of visits to Norway.
With over ten years experience as a lecturer in Art & Design and fifteen as an artist and maker, Georgina has a firm commitment and passion for making things and sharing knowledge. At Spot and Dot we are able to offer expert one to one workshops, covering a range of textile techniques and process.
